PENOLA NAMES  in  the  South East  of  South Australia  in  1868
In  the  lead  up  to  the  election  to  be  held  7  May  1868,  the  Border  Watch  published  lists  of  names  of  residents  
who  were  aligning  themselves  with  the  candidates  who  were  vying  for  two  vacancies  to  represent  the  District  of  Victoria.
